A fifth generation recipe hailing from Altengurger Brauerei in Germany. Brewed in collaboration with the WPSCA. Begins with clean malted grain sourced from Germany and finishes with a subtle woody and spiced hop note. A lovely multi-pint drinker that’s just enough of everything you want in a beer.

Bold and dark, yet light all the same beer. Brewed with chocolate malts, European pilsner malts, black wheat and wet hopped with Saaz. This beer was brewed in collaboration with the Barley Market and City Walk Brewing – both businesses headquartered just outside of Hickory’s Union Square.

Style | Ale with Butternut Squash & Spices | 6.4%

This one is for all our basic you know what’s. Nothing signals fall weather like a spiced ale. A slight variance on the ever popular pumpkin spice beers, we substituted roasted butternut squash (thank you Chef Ben!) as our gourd of choice. Sugar and spice and everything nice.

Style | Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout | 9.5%

Limited release Imperial Stout aged in fresh North Carolina Bourbon Barrels. Brewed in collaboration with Will, the MoHawked brewer, a great friend of our Head Brewer. Composed of pale ale malt, chocolate malt, midnight wheat, and oats making a rich beer with hints of toffee, dark chocolate, and bourbon. This boozy heavy hitter is the first of many imperials for the winter season.

Brewed with fresh carrots, cinnamon, two row, chocolate malt, and caramel malt. Finished with cheesecake natural flavor resulting in a Boozy winter warmer with a sweet cream finish that matches up to the holiday classic Carrot Cake.

Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Taproot Coffee. Malachi is a young entrepreneur who owns and operates the local Coffee Bus you might have seen scooting around town. In addition, he sources and roasts coffee beans in-house.

He selected Mexican beans from Veracruz with a medium roast due to the inherent notes of baking spices and pecans. Daniel selected malted barley and a heavy dose of flaked oats resulting in brew with more residual sweetness. The coffee is steeped during the whirlpool. The hue of a light beer, but the flavor of our stout and a subtle amount coffee.

Style | India Pale Ale with Natural Flavors & Artificial Colors | 7.0%

Hop forward IPA with a sweet cream texture. Hints of strawberry, citrus and piney spice from Ariana and Belma hops and generous amounts of real fresh strawberry. Its just odd enough to be delicious.

Style | Hoppy Pilsner | 5.0%

Brewed in collaboration with the Chamber of Catawba County and released at their 52nd Annual Meeting. Our Founder, Zack served as the Board Chair for 2023. A light straw colored European inspired Pilsner. This refreshing beer starts with a nice Pilsner malt sweetness and transitions to a moderate and lingering hop bitterness courtesy of Magnum and Liberty hops. This is a business in the front, party in the back kinda beer.

Style | Double india Pale ALE | 9.1% ABV

Copper hued DIPA brewed with all New Zealand Hops. Upfront hop bitterness with flavors of orange marmalade and stone fruits. This one’s a heavy hitter for hop and ABV lovers alike. Be careful not to get tuckered out.

Style | Session Pale Ale | 4.9%

This is a crushable all day drinking pale ale bursting with citra and cascade hops. It's light, refreshing. but just enough flavor not to be boring. Perfect for the Girl Dad on afternoon dutv. Taste great, less filling ;)

Style | Bourbon Barrel Aged Dark Lager | 5.0%

Brewed with German and American malts creating a lightly roasted flavor with toffee undertones. Briefly rested in our City Walk Wheated Bourbon Barrels, creating a lower ABV and lighter bodied Bourbon Barrel Aged Beer that you can have more than one of.

This offering is sour and delicious!! Intensely tart, yet refreshing blonde sour. Subtle hints of Montgomery cherries lead way to a jaw tingling finish. Part of our rotating fruited sour series.

This beauty is brewed in collaboration with our friends at the Hickory Farmer's Market. Bright, floral, and refreshingly crisp. Our team selected Dandelion and Fresh Strawberries to accompany this rustic Ale. 

Style | Grilled Watermelon Gose | 4.7%

Grilled Watermelon Gose takes you back to summers sitting on granny’s porch. Lightly tart backbone gives way to sweet watermelon, followed by a light smokiness from the malts and briney finish.  Perfect for the beach, lake or pool!

Style | Red Hazy IPA | 6.2%

Mango forward Hazy IPA brewed with red x malt, real mango juice, and loads of Azacca and Mosaic hops. This copper-hued hazy is the definition of tropical juiciness. Mario "Can't Fight the Feeling" to have another pour of this beauty.

Style | Moscato Rice Lager | 4.9%

This beer is a happy marriage between Italian & Japanese culture. A Moscoto inspired Rice Lager brewed with 30% pilsner malt, 35% rice, and 35% white muscat grapes. A light and easy drinking lager with a touch of white wine sophistication.
